about

The Long Echo is proud to announce their first compilation of label highlights—The Long Chill.

With over 10 million streams across these tracks, the first steps of the label in the past couple of years have proven to excite and engage many people.

The original new track, Sakae, opens up the compilation. Arguably the label’s most prolific artist, Bunraku never fails to deliver a beautifully slow-moving and atmospheric piece of ambient electronica. After Sakae the album continues her beautiful trajectory, highlighting TLE’s quite rich oeuvre.

Classics such as the mysterious Cruel Clouds’ Dust or Wild Orchid’s Stellar grace the running order, whilst newer additions to the catalogue such as Mo Anando’s Sirocco or newer Bunraku songs provide a balanced scope of the label’s short history.

Listening through The Long Chill it’s evident that The Long Echo have established their sound within the ambient electronica realm and show no signs of slowing down, with recent releases including Bunraku’s third full-length album, Yoru.

The album artwork is, once again, classic The Long Echo. The mundane and everyday zoomed-in; a perfect summary of the label’s colours and ideas.
